Your student should have brought home a summer school form. Please get those filled out and returned to school as soon as possible. If you need a copy of the summer school form please contact the school and we will get one to you.
Zalma R5 will be in school Monday, April 7th. The bus will run where possible and will not drive through water or washed out roads.
The Elementary and Junior High Games tonight have been rescheduled to Tuesday, April 8th.
Tonight's elementary and junior high volleyball games at Leopold have been cancelled. The games are rescheduled for Tuesday, April 7th. Elementary volleyball will start at 5:00 followed by JHVB.
With the threat of strong winds and rain, Zalma R5 is dismissing today at 1:00 PM.
We are currently monitoring the weather forecasted for the next few days, specifically tomorrow. There is a chance for early dismissal on Wednesday so parents should have a plan in place.

Reminder: Preschool/Kindergarten Screening is Tuesday, March 18th at the Zalma Church. You must contact the office no later than today to schedule an appointment.
Due to a Track and Field District Competition conflict that is out of our control, the Zalma R5 Graduation time has been moved to 7:00 PM. The date is the same, just later in the day. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience that this causes. This change ensures that our students are able to compete in the district event and still attend their graduation.
Zalma R5 is closed the rest of the week, Feb 19-21. All games for the week are cancelled. Homecoming will be rescheduled.

Zalma R5 is closing the rest of this week, February 11 - 14, due to illness throughout the district. This is not an easy decision but one we felt necessary in order protect the health of our students and staff. Campus will be closed while we deep clean our facilities. Thank you for your understanding.
The elementary basketball game at Richland scheduled for 2/6/2025 is cancelled.
The mini cheer performance will be Monday night between games at the tournament. Participants should be there by 6:15.
